I am still tweaking - I hope to soon be able to post some photos and allow access for comments from a broader range of email accounts.

Does everyone know that Urban Hope Academy has the beginnings of a library in storage? A former home-schooling family donated over 300 books to us this month - from kindergarten storybooks to novels to encyclopedias - for classroom and resource usage. How exciting! Welcome to Urban Hope Academy's blog!

It is my hope that this blog will accomplish several things:

1. Chronicle the events, large and small, that are taking place as this school is born

2. Give me a regular outlet to share UHA updates & accomplishments

3. Create an online community where readers can not only follow along, but also contribute their own thoughts and comments
