Valentine's Day
I'm sending out this Valentine's Day shout-out to my communications assistant, Rebekah. I'm sure her new FIANCE has taken care of all the sweet and mushy stuff, but I thought it worth my time to tell her that I appreciate all her work for and with me. Thanks, Rebekah for your flexibility, enthusiasm, and dedication.

Exciting Stuff!!
Two exciting things are in the works and on my radar screen for Urban Hope Academy this week.
1. The Chamber of Commerce Business Expo - UHA is going to be one of just a small handful of non-profits with a booth at the Business Expo at the Convention Center one week from today - February 17th. This is a chance for us to network with a large number of local businesses and entrepreneurs! Pray for favor and good connections as we get our name out there. (Special shout-outs to the volunteers who will be helping me staff the booth. We'll be sure to post pictures.) This is a FREE all-day event for the public, so feel free to come to the Trade Center and check us out if you have some free time between 9 and 5!
2. Even more exciting, we are closer than ever to nailing down a space for this Fall! (Can I get an AMEN??!?!) One of our partner churches has some space in their daycare building that may be a good match for us. They are very supportive of our vision, and we are excited about the expertise and experience they bring to the table. I will release more details as we get a bit further down the road. PRAY as we work toward a Memorandum of Understanding with them.
It may be freezing outside, but it feels like a spring thaw is on the way!!
